Question #1 - What is your favorite quality about yourself?
I’m persistent, logical, punctual, dependable, and emotionally stable.
Question #2 - What is your least favorite quality about yourself?
I’m impulsive and sometimes don’t think things out before reacting. I’m somewhat shy and feel uncomfortable among strangers, until I get to know them. I'm a private person and don't like to be the center of attention. I prefer to stay behind the scenes and out of the limelight.
Question #3 - When did you first know you could be a writer?
I always thought it would be nice to have written a book as a personal accomplishment. I never thought much about becoming a writer. I always felt I had the ability to write a book if a good story came along. So when I did perceive a good story evolving about my son and his ferrets, I decided to go for it.
Question #4 - Who or what influenced your writing over the years?
I was inspired to write a book because it was something I always thought I could do, but never conceived a compelling storyline. I perceived an interesting story developing after observing several incidents and interaction involving my son and his pet ferrets. I often visited him at his apartment, and thought it would be fun to write a book about him and his pet ferrets.
Question #5 - How did you come up with the title of the book?
My son had several nicknames for his pet ferrets and one of them was Chubby Wubbles which I liked very much. Later on, I added a subtitle “A Ferrets Tale” because some readers may not be able to recognize a ferret on the cover.
After being an observer and non-pet owner, I was thrown into the mix because my son was leaving and I couldn’t bear the thought of him having to give up his pet ferret to someone else. Since I’ve grown so attached to this lovable critter, I agreed to take care of him while he was away. Because of the many experiences my son has had with this adorably sweet animal, I decided to write a children’s book based on a true story about their adventures and misadventures.
